GENERAL DESCRIPTIONWith selected buildings you can easily generate variations of the skyline of those selected buildings (building heights) with one click.
With no selected building
all unlocked buildings in the project will be selected with the tool start.
NOW select the playground from the toolbar! If no building is selected, all buildings will be selected.
Otherwise only the selected buildings will be randomized.
Every further left-click within the viewport outside the model or leftclick+ALT (anywhere) creates a new variation.
Leftclick on a building locks / unlocks the building (best viewed in block-mode).
Define height-limit (amount of floors) in the context-menu, from a large toolbar or 'on the fly' in the VCB.
For every variation the GFA is calculated and can be displayed in the result images.
Besides that, a '
floorfile' is saved in the output folder for each manual playground-iteration, so that it is possible to review all variations, if necessary.
Tip:
with a larger amount of buildings the viewport may become slower.
Swith to the
block-view here, play with the heights and restore later the variations, you liked, afterwords in the detailed design.

Locked buildings are displayed in red colour in the block view.
