THIS TOOL IS ACTUALLY OFFLINE!!!With the following sequence you can create a simple roof :
From faces / surface:1. Select a face
2. Create a roof basis from this selected face (context)
3. Draw all ridges via Line tool (context) and exit the line tool
4. Select the top ridges only and create a roof via context menu.
From rectangular face:1. Create a roof from selected face via context menu.
the orientation follows the longer side of the face.
From am edge:1. a lean to roof will be created via context
From a face without a top ridge (all ridges are concentric around 1 point)Not yet implemented
For the roof itself some parameters can be defined:
Thickness
Height
Curve factor
Overhang
There are some materials predefined and applied for the roof.
This may be useful for quick visualisation.
