From the column tool you also can create a row of columns with the following input sequence:
1 - shift + leftclick : activate the row-tool
(at this point the context menu for the row is available)
2 - leftclick : first point (now the column detail can be defined from the context)
3 - leftclick : a row is created
If things work fine, a row of columns between point a and b is created, whith defined amount and interpolated distance, all adapted to a terrain and, if existing, to a 'ceiling'.
There is a special input option to define the total length of the row along a given vector.
You can also use all input options as in the
linear grid for the values (grid, distance).
So especially the TAB/CTRL keys are useful here for the definition of the grid distance!
