In AREAL3d you can show your model (at the moment only AREAL-materials) in two ways:
- coloured
- greyscale
The two designs have their own material palette, which can be activated from the toolbar.
By switching the button the AREAL-materials for the selected palette are loaded from a system-file.
You can change any AREAL-material with the standard sketchup editor.
Those changes are saved into the system file, so both palettes are always 'up to date'
and active for other projects, that you open.
You can even assign textures for every AREAL3D-material and save/load material settings.
If things go wrong, it is possible to reset a palette to a hard- coded version from the pulldown menue.
Here only the active palette will be reset, so if grayscale is ok, switch to 'colored' and reset or the other way round.....
There are more functions for materials described in the
material section.
