CREATE STONES

You can create rows of stones

via P2P-Input or from selected edges

or

stone plates from faces.

OPTIONS AND PARAMETERS

In the context menu there some options:

- input options

- define a form

- width variation
- length variation
- rotation on different axes
- some random factors
- smoothing parameters

- amount of horizontal rows
- amount of vertical rows

and some standard functions.

Details:

Basic stones are created from a polygon as a regular cuboid first.
With the distortion - factor you can randomize the structure of the stone up to a certain extend.
Its faces will be devided and the position of the vertices will be randomized.

- smooth / not smooth (changes even an already created group of stones)

ADJUSTMENT OF A CREATED GROUP OF STONES

After a row of stones was created, it can be

- moved in vertical direction (key up/down)
- scaled in x,y,z with the arrow up/down keys (each separate stone within a selected group)
- scaled in z with the end/pos1 keys (whole array of stones)

- ctrl+shift+left  will delete a single stone (you do not have to 'open' a stone group for it!)

- ctrl+shift+alt+left  deletes the whole group of stones.

LIMITATION

At the moment the center of the first and last stone are generated at the start / end point of the edge,
so a generated row of stones is longer that the source line.
This may be improved in the future.
