Structure of an AREAL3D-building
« on: August 31, 2015, 10:43:53 AM »
An AREAL3d-building contains following elements

level 0       skp-group = building

     level 1       sub-group 'facade'

          level 2        sub-group vertical
          level 2        sub-group roof
          level 2        sub-group railing

sub group columns
sub-group ceiling
downlights
facade-details

level 1       sub-group(s) 'floors' (can be components per user default, still experimental)

     level 1       sub-group 'block' (separate layer / for block-display)

At the moment we implement more functions / parameters for some basic details like

- columns, inside along the facade
- facade-details with options for vertical and horizontal profiles
- suspended ceiling following the outside contour of the facade/floor
- roof overhang following the outside contour of the facade/floor

Some content is split to different layers, so you can filter, what you display.

Building with parapet, facade, lintel and roof railing / with actual name/floors/gfa :

You can change the building design to "block" with the view-function:

BLOCK / DETAIL - VIEW

and coloured / greyscale

COLOURED / GREYSCALE - VIEW
