With the waterplane type 2
the type 2 also creates a waterplane, banks and a bottom-face,
in same height with multiple selection,
but it saves the original mesh to a extra layer and creates new geometry for the waterplane-elements.
In one of coming version the type 2 - waterplane will also have a option for "following terrain"...........
