With the
AREAL3D wall tool you can create vertical faces (walls) or volumes from any mesh, horizontal or sloped.
With the
AREAL3D line tool you can create and modify blocks / volumes.
Those elements are generated in a new group and have a defined material.
Now, with the building tool, those walls / volumes / blocks are recognized (top horizontal face) and a building can be created on top of this ,wall socket'.
Since the building are always created at the lowest height of the selected mesh,
the socket function can be used for creating a plateau for the building first.
You can then explode the socket group and modify the terrain around the building.
Volumes can be drawn 'always horizontal' via context menu. They can be converted to AREAL3D buildings (context).
