ORBITER - Basic information

With the orbiter, you can fly around the model along a circular path with a fixed height and distance.

Activate the orbiter from the main toolbar or the orbiter toolbar.

Once activated, the orbiter starts to move the camera around the default start centerpoint.

You can now control following parameters of the orbiter via

keyboard, context or the toolbar:

- start, stop, pause (toolbar & context)

- distance of the camera (toolbar & keys)

- height of the camera (toolbar & keys)

- height of the camera, vertical (toolbar)

- direction (toolbar & keys)

- speed (keys)

and via mouseclick

- center of the circular camera path (just click 1 x left anywhere to define, anytime, even if the tool runs)

It is interesting to see, that the architecture of the tool alows to use other tools while the camera moves.
Simply select other tools and use them. As soon as you release the mouse buttons, the orbiter starts moving again.

Orbiter toolbar:

- settings
- start
- start & save images
- stop
- pause

- distance +/-
- height 3d +/-
- height vertical (horizon) +/-

- direction (reverse)

- save page/scene/view  [shift]
- export single image

and further functions:

- batch export (independent from orbiter)

- iterate buildings (independent from orbiter)

- focus above position  (independent from orbiter) > move quickly above any place in model with one click
