Within the
AREAL3D wall tool you can also easily create 'building structures'
by copying wall elements in the vertical direction.
To make things easy, we reduced the workflow to 1 click, so
once a wall is created from the terrain faces,
you can
- left-click on the wall element to create a new element directly on top of it
with the height defined in the vcb
- SHIFT + Leftclick to include a gap
- ALT + Leftclick to make the new element twice as high (basis : VCB)
- ALT + SHIFT + Leftclick to combine the two before
- SHIFT + CTRL + ALT with leftclick will delete a wall element.
You can create urban structures very easily and quickly now from any form on the mesh.
For the active session you also can override the terrain / flat selection from the context menu.
Then any surface becomes a volume with horizontal or sloped topface.
Future functions:
Like simple wall-volumes the user will be able to convert those wall structures to
AREAL3D-buildings, too.
