Placing electric poles

After a row is created, you can 'pick' (by mouse-over) any created pole and start a new row.

Unlike other AREAL3d tools, here the picked pole only defines the connection,
so for the next sequence you can either

click on a pole to continue (in same "logical" direction)

or

you will again create startpoint and endpoint.
In this case the endpole (connection = selected) and the new startpoint will be 'chained'.

As the connector is defined by the selection (mouse over), you can either continue a row or create a branch anywhere in the middle of the row.

At the moment the connection only works in the "logical" direction of the chain. In some cases therefor the wires will be flipped (a small transformation issue). We work on that!

The wires are calculated from pole to pole and are no components, since the poles follow the terrain and the curves must be recalculated for each section. By randomizing the amount and position of the wires and small variations of the radius for each wire you can get very realistic impression in many situations.

Create a new independent row via context >> start new row

You must quit via ESC or finish with double-click to close a 'session'.

Leave the tool by explicite exit in the context menu or select another tool.
