Using the test version
« on: April 02, 2016, 10:06:36 AM »
Dear sketchup user,

If you download the plugin from the AREAL3D website or eventually from the Extension Warehouse, it can be installed as RBZ via Extension Manager in Sketchup.
It works with Sketchup 2017 and 2018.

In this test version all functions work, but the functionality is time-limited.

Within some tools there is a defined period of testing time implemented, the AREAL-elements will be deleted after this test period expires.

After the test period is over, you will not be able to use the most of AREAL functions within the active sketchup session.

But again, restarting Sketchup gives you a new full test period.

Of course, a development of a plugin takes a lot of time and so we are grateful for every support.
If you like AREAL3D or a part of it, please, support it and buy a licence.

We are aware of the fact, that in the beginning there is still a lot to do and as we all know, 'bugs are everywhere...' -:), but will try to solve everything as quick as possible.

But
We do not promisse to continue all implemented functions, some may be removed or reprogrammed in the future.

Users' feedback is also very helpful, so please feel free to make your input in the forum.

There are dedicated user sections for a general discussion, bug reports and so on.

We also will, step by step, describe every function in the forum as good as possible, and this online help will surely grow with the plugin. Later on also some videos will be posted.

And: nearly every function in the programm has an online help (on screen, using the ruby-console), which can be activated from the preferencies. You will find there some useful informations and shortcuts for the selected tool.

Hopefully something from AREAL3D is useful for you.

Regards

zf
