Declare a waterplane TYPE 2 - from imported maps

WATERPLANE TYPE 2

>> Selector >> Helpers

This waterplane function is created for river and water areas in wide range maps imported to sketchup.

Simply project the river outline to an imported mesh with map-texture and create the river.

What hapens:

- you can see the outline of the river / water area on the map (maybe inside a group
  including the map image/faces).
Please check, if the projection worked correctly (separate surfaces were generated in that case).
Otherwise repair the mesh with edge tools or other plugin or manually).

- select the water-surface (eventually inside a group)

- use the tool on this selection

NOW

- the SELECTED part of the map to be replaced with the water material is saved to a separate group
(including topography) and moved to a hidden layer

- the water-area will be flattened and integrated within the river banks

- the river banks become vertical and are painted with an own material

- additional bottom plane is generated for creating a controlled depth in vis-programs

THIS FUNCTION IS STILL EXPERIMENTAL !!!

Note: in Lumion 9.3.1 the hidden faces are still visible.

For now, the workaround is:
You must create another hidden layer, make it active, then select the layer including the hidden maps and delete this layer, while moving the elements to active layer.

In one of coming version the type 2 - waterplane will also have a option for "following terrain"...........!
