Modify a building
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:42:27 PM »
There are several ways available for a modification of a building:

1. MODIFY - TOOL

Select the modifier from the toolbar and click on the building.

   - 1 leftclick adds a floor
   - 1 leftclick-move adds floors continuously (depends on your pc's performance......)

   - 1 doubleclick changes the direction to 'remove floors'

   - 1 leftlick then removes 1 floor
   - 1 leftclick-move then removes floors continuously

(ok, continuously on really fast machines -:) called HAL or so..... Just hold down the left mouse and move).

Some options are also available on SHIFT, CTRL and ALT together with a left click.

   - SHIFT & Leftlick removes a floor
   - CTRL & leftclick adds 5 FLOORS
   - ALT & Leftclick adds 10 FLOORS

   - SHIFT & CTRL moves the whole building up (1 F)
   - SHIFT & CTRL & ALT moves the whole building down (1 F)

All options are displayed in the online-help, if it is active (user defined).

2. KEYS

You can modify a selected building via keyboard keys.
Select a building or just mouse-over within this tool.

   - arrow up & down    : + / -   1 Floor
   - end & pos              : cover thickness

with the tool set to 'v-move'- mode

   - ctrl & tab - column grid (needs some time sometimes .....)

3. VCB-INPUTS

Mouse-over a building to select it. Enter Floor-amount in the VCB.

4. CONTEXT MENU

In the context menue you can set the amount of floors for the selected building directly.
Also some details of the buildings can be switched on/off or redifined (details)

5. PLAYGROUND

The playground modifies the heights (amount of floors) of any selection of AREAL-buildings with a random value for each building.
