With this tool you can
- modify single vertices (points on the mesh) in vertical (z) - direction.
The movement is fixed to vertical only to keep the mesh always intact without any intersection.
- double-click changes the direction of the movement
- in the VCB you can define the DELTA (length) of 1 movement step
- whith the movement the relative and absolute heights of the active mesh-point are displayed.
- in the context-menu you will find an option for showing all points' height of a selected face.
- with ALT you can move the selected face up / down
- with ALT-SHIFT you can move the surface of a selected face up / down
- in the context menu there are more functions for making a face / surface flat at a defined height.
You can also enter an absolute height for a vertex or a face and even lock it in space (for some AREAL3D-tools).
This is useful for fixing some areas at a desired height in the model and then modify the rest of the terrain/mesh between those locked areas.
